Mohave Valley Raceway

Winners from September 14, 2024

If you did not make it our nor watched on Dirt Race Central the racing at Mohave Valley Raceway last night, you missed out on the excitement of last lap passes for the win!

First up on the night was the Street Stocks where the #18m of Bill Meyer and the #m16 of Ron Meyer duked it out for the top two positions. The #m16 of Ron Meyer was able to hold off his brother #18m Bill Meyer and the rest of the field to take home the win.

Next was the Living Waters Hospice IMCA Modifieds where the #18m Noah Geer took the lead immediately at the drop on the green. When the laps were winding down, a little "bobble" allowed the #07x Troy Morris III, who started 13th, to make the pass that would take him to the checker on the last lap.

The Sport Compacts did not want to miss out on creating that element of surprise as to who was going to win.......Larry Dowell in the #59d found that extra surge of power to come out of turn 4 and make it to the checker flag first.

Rounding out the night was the race that would decide our first track champion of 2024 with the Super Stocks. Going into the night there was only six points separating the top two drivers of the #48t/#92 Tyson Talkington and the #44m Bill McIntosh. Bill was able to gain a couple of points on Tyson with the heat race and main wins however it was not enough to take over the point lead which gave Tyson the 2024 Super Stock Championship.

The Spring Family Motorsports Mini Dwarfs had #1 Braylon Martin taking his first win at Mohave Valley Raceway in the sportsman and #33 Luke Spring taking the master win.

Thank you to ALL who came out and enjoyed a night at the races with us. We look forward to seeing you again on September 28th.
