BOX RACES AT MOHAVE VALLEY RACEWAY! |
Races will take place at OVAL EVENTS at Mohave Valley
Raceway.
Open to all kids under 13 years of age! Age groups will be
roughly under 6, 6-9, and 10-13.
Races take place on the front straightaway of the track during intermisson.
To race all kids need to bring a cardboard box that fits around and covers
the region from under the shoulders to approximately the waist.
Kids will also need shoes suitable for running on a dirt track.
Painting, decorating, and numbering your box is HIGHLY
ENCOURAGED!!
The race. 6 laps around a small course in front of the stands.
After lap 2, all kids will remove one shoe, hold it over their head and then
put it back on. Run two more laps and then stop to drink a small
cup of water. After drinking the water cup must be turned upside
down over their head to prove the water is gone. Run two more
laps to determine the winner!
